How do I choose a hybrid class?

Speak to a Hybrid Trainer in a starting zone or major city. The trainer will present the available hybrid classes, and you can select the one you want for your character.

Can any race choose any hybrid class?

Yes. Embertide’s hybrid system is designed so any race can choose any available hybrid class.

Do hybrid classes replace the normal class system?

Yes. On Embertide, the hybrid system is the main class progression path. Instead of following traditional class design, your character grows through a custom hybrid identity.

How do talents work for hybrid classes?

Hybrid talents are selected through the hybrid talent system or a dedicated talent NPC, depending on how the server is configured. These talents are chosen to fit the identity and role of each hybrid.

Can I reset my talents later?

Yes. If talent resets are enabled, you can use the proper NPC or GM-supported reset flow to clear and reselect your talents.

What if I picked the wrong hybrid?

If your server setup supports reset or regrant tools, a GM may be able to help, or a class reset NPC may be available. Check server rules or ask staff before assuming it can be changed freely.

Are hybrid classes balanced for group content?

That is the goal. Each hybrid is meant to support a clear role in solo play, dungeons, and other group activities, though balance may continue to evolve during testing.
